I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and grew up with a menagerie of different animals. We had dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, an iguana and a pot bellied pig named Cleo. I have always had a great love of animals and people. This is what has driven me throughout my life to become a veterinarian. I wanted to foster that relationship people have with their pets. I knew by keeping their beloved pets happy and healthy that I would be helping people as well.

I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993. I went on to attend Veterinary School at Colorado State University and graduated in 1997.

I spent my first 6 years as a veterinarian in Kingman, AZ where I really enjoyed getting to know some amazing people and their four-legged family members. I then relocated to Washington State and spent 9 years in Olympia. Although I really loved everything the Pacific Northwest had to offer, I knew that in my heart I was ready to come back home.

From the first moment I drove into Anthem in 2009, I knew this was where I wanted to raise my family. I fell in love with the small-town atmosphere and tight community spirit that I saw every time I found an excuse to visit. I finally realized my dream early this year when my family found a house here in Anthem and opened Daisy Mountain Veterinary Hospital. We have been welcomed into this community with open arms and know we have found our “forever home”. I look forward to becoming your other family doctor!

I grew up in a military family, moving around frequently, but spent most of my time in the Washington D.C. area. For my undergraduate degree, I attended York College of Pennsylvania, where I studied biology. While at York, I volunteered on a farm and worked with horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, and alpaca. After graduation, I worked as a veterinary technician at a small animal practice in Prattville, AL.

My first visit to Phoenix was for a NASCAR race and I quickly fell in love with the valley. I received my DVM from Midwestern University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 and knew I wanted to stay in Arizona after graduation. My medical interests include surgery, preventative medicine and brachycephalic breed medicine.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching movies, running, and cheering on all the Washington D.C. sports teams! I live with my fur babies Kingston (a Bichon Frise) and two cats, Jericho and Cena. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

I grew up in Texas and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Prairie View A&M University in 2015. I moved to Arizona to attend Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine and became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in May 2020. Prior to attending Midwestern University, I had worked as a veterinary assistant and volunteered at several animal shelters. I knew I wanted to be a Veterinarian for as long as I can remember and growing up on a ranch really helped solidify that dream. To me, the most rewarding part about being a Veterinarian is being able to help those who cannot help themselves. Companion animals are a big part of our lives and I love being able to provide care to our furry family members.

I currently only have one dog, Luna, who is a Bernese Mountain Dog. In our free time we like to kayak, hike, and explore the hidden gems all around Arizona. When I am not at work taking care of your furry family members, you can usually find me at the gym or outside enjoying the sunshine.
